Five County Credit Union in Rockland is collecting food for their local food pantry for the next two weeks. Everything is needed! Family size packages would be great. Besides food they also would like shampoo, soap, dish detergent, toothpaste. Please drop off your donations. They are open on Main St. from 9-4. FMI

Adult Grief Support Groups at the Hospice Volunteers Community Center, Main Street in Waterville. HVWA offers 4 ongoing adult grief support groups for people whose loved one has died. There is a Widow's Group that meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, a Widow and Widower's Group that meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, a Men's Grief Group that meets the 3rd Monday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and a Women's Grief group that meets the 3rd Monday of each month from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Pet Food Pantry in Fairfield distributes free pet food and supplies on the fourth Friday of each month. The non-profit food bank for animals is located at Victor Grange at the corner of Routes 23 and 139. Distribution time is from 2 to 4 p.m. The pet pantry is always looking for donations and volunteers. FMI: 409-5904

Become a mentor to High School students. This a Cony/Cynergy Collaborative program.
